About the role

  • We are looking to recruit a Plumber to join our site services team at Higgins Partnerships Plc.
  • Higgins Partnerships works are generally based in and around London and the surrounding counties.
  • This will be a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a PHMES plumbers card and good mechanical knowledge.
  • The purpose of this role is to assist the site services and aftercare team with the below works:
  • Installation of temporary plumbing works and permanent mechanical tasks
  • Mechanical defects and maintenance tasks
  • Installation of external R.W.P and Copings
  • Installation of external in-ground services
  • A key function of the role is to ensure all M&E plant and equipment is installed to the highest standard and safety complaint, as well as ensuring all health and safety procedures are adhered to.
  • The role will include maintaining a safe working environment and carry out regular inspections utilising the company safety department as appropriate, as well as maintain accurate daily site diaries.
  • The individual will also be responsible for the following:
  • Maintaining and requesting PPE
  • Maintenance and inspection of all tools and equipment issues and weekly PUWER completion
  • Issuing daily FORS paperwork
  • Ensuring accurate document is available in a neat and safe manner for company records
  • Comply with policies and procedures of the company
  • The role includes a company vehicle, phone, power tools and uniform as well as training requirements for additional job-related tasks.

To succeed in this role, you will bring with you the following skill set:

  • Good communication skills
  • Good mechanical knowledge
  • PHMES plumbers card/CSCS Card
  • Driving licence
  • Gas safe
  • Thames Water approved / institute of plumbers is desirable but not required
