One the UK's leading manufacturer in the Metal Industry, are looking for an experienced Administrator who wants to join the payroll team on a permanent basis. This role is crucial to our administration function, offering the opportunity to handle a variety of tasks and responsibilities.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Process payroll under the guidance of the Senior Administrator, adhering to contract conditions and legal requirements, and maintaining all relevant payroll master files.
- Administer all pension issues related to payroll.
- Prepare and submit year-end payroll returns and P11(d) forms to HMRC.
- Monitor and maintain the Time and Attendance System, including the maintenance of sickness and absence records in liaison with immediate managers and the Occupational Health Nurse.
- Manage all travel arrangements for personnel, including flights, car hire, conference and accommodation bookings, both nationally and internationally.
- Support all visitor administration requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong numeracy skills with experience in processing payroll
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar position or business administration qualification.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel.
- Excellent communication skills and a flexible attitude to work.
- Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion.
- Enthusiastic team player, self-motivated, capable of working unsupervised and meeting tight deadlines.
