Senior Specialist, Data Privacy

My high profile client are seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist, Data Privacy
to join their global privacy office team. This role is located in Manchester- hybrid position on site 3 days a week and 2 days from home.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Contribute to the Bank's data privacy program and support management to operationalize the Bank's data privacy strategy and management framework
- Analyze data privacy legislation, regulatory announcements, and industry practices to support the development of guidance and implementation recommendations
- Contribute to the development of projects and programs that enhance and operationalize the firm's data privacy control framework.
- Support the deployment of privacy management technology and tools (automation) to enhance data privacy controls
- Support operational components of the enterprise/line of business/corporate function/regional data privacy program
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Data Privacy, Information Security, Records Management, Compliance, Consultancy or Financial Services background and/or experience with financial services compliance and/or the applicable data privacy laws, regulations and rules of relevant regulators preferred.
- An execution-focused and results-oriented individual who collaborates well with others, has strong verbal and written communication skills, and can manage multiple priorities and changing requirements
