The role
As an Applications Engineer you will use your deep knowledge of processes and data analytics to report to customers on water saving. Within this role you will need to adapt to new challenges and tasks of a small scale-up company.
Other responsibilities include:

  • Liaise with clients to install technology by reviewing P&IDs and technical information
  • Manage installation and projects with large FMCG customers
  • Visit sites and survey installation locations
  • Analyse data from installation and quantify savings to clients
  • Recommend improvements to technical team and manage their implementation.
  • Identify new customer applications via customer feedback
  • Incubate new applications and help determine business case

The requirements

MEng/BEng Chemical or Process Engineering is a must, as well as...

  • Knowledge of data analytics such as Python or R
  • Able to travel internationally
  • Understands Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
  • Desire to develop new skills
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite)
