Job Title: Clinical Negligence Solicitor

Location: Blackburn

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 DOE

Reed Legal are currently working in partnership with a reputable legal firm based in Blackburn with offices located across Lancashire, who are dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to their clients.

Role Overview: Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload of clinical negligence claims, providing expert legal advice and representation to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a diverse caseload of clinical negligence claims from inception to conclusion
  • Conducting thorough investigations and gathering evidence to support claims
  • Liaising with medical experts, clients, and other legal professionals
  • Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements
  • Representing clients in negotiations and court proceedings
  • Providing clear and concise legal advice to clients
  • Keeping up-to-date with relevant legislation and case law

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years' PQE in clinical negligence
  • Strong knowledge of clinical negligence law and procedures
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload and work to tight deadlines
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in legal research and drafting
