Ward: Acute Stroke/Wards - Adults
Pay Rates: £21.80 - £22.37 depending on band
Shift Patterns: Monday - Friday 08.30 - 16.30 with some flexibility

Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust are seeking to welcome a motivated Band 6 or 7 Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join their Adult Speech and Language Therapy team in outpatients, community and inpatients settings.
In this role you will be required to:
- Carry out appropriate assessments for clients to evaluate the information gained to make appropriate clinical decisions based on highly specialised clinical knowledge and including different diagnosis
- Determine and structure appropriate care plans for intervention including treatment, advice, review, discharge, information exchange and communication with client, team members and carers following assessment
What you'll need:
- Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent
- Licence to Practice
- Registered with HCPC
- The successful candidate will need to be competent and confidant in preparing and using electronic information.
- The post holder needs to have up to date IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft outlook and word.
- A knowledge and /or experience of using RIO patient held record system would be of benefit.
- Car for community work
In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of:

- Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable.
