Role: Bookkeeper
Location: Bolton
Salary: up to £35k
**free parking element of flexibility on hours**
Duties:
- Managing Timesheets and Subcontractor payroll details to pass over to the company accountant
- Processing Invoices, overseeing the Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Credit Control duties
- CIS Returns & VAT Returns
- Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Preparing financial reports for the Management Team
- Dealing with accounts queries with confidence - has the support of an external accountant
- Liaison with suppliers, customers and subcontractors
- As a small office team, there will be additional administrative tasks and support with answering the telephone
The ideal candidate:
- Experience working with the consruction industry would be advantagous
- Strong knowledge of Xero
- Happy to work fully office based
