Assembly Technician

SR2 is recruiting for a fantastic engineering company who are looking for an Assembly Technician to join them. They are transforming the future of technology by revolutionising the world of inspection machines and artificial intelligence vision system products and have exciting growth plans.
This role shall require you to work as part of the engineering team and be responsible for electrical and mechanical manufacture, fitting and assembly in accordance with engineering schematics/drawings
Key requirements:
- 3 years experience in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment.
- Experience as a electro-mechanical technician, fitter or hands-on engineer.
- Knowledge of electrical wiring, mechanical building and pneumatics.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and work instructions for both mechanical build and electrical wiring.
- Ability to use manual and powered hand tools.
