Facilities Manager - Manchester (Hyde)
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum.
Your new role
We are looking for a Facilities Manager to join our client's team in Manchester, providing Facilities Management control and support to school sites to ensure that they operate efficiently and effectively to achieve and maintain full contractual and statutory compliance. You will provide support to the Account Manager in the management and delivery of contractual obligations and client expectations.
As the Facilities Manager, it will be your responsibility to monitor and report on Service Delivery performance monthly or as requested by the client and ensure budgets are managed and utilised effectively to achieve overall contract profitability whilst providing the school's best service. You will manage and support teams in operational delivery of the contract requirements and service delivery in line with values and standards and provide guidance to the site teams on delivering the SLAs in a timely manner and in accordance with the Facilities Management Agreement and Project Agreement. It will be the responsibility of the Facilities Manager to ensure compliance of all Health & Safety Legislation and procedures and assist and support audit processes.
What you'll need to succeed
- A good general education with a relevant qualification aligned to Facilities Management.
- A demonstrable record of continuous personal development within the industry as well as demonstrable success in a similar service environment.
- Capable of delivering compliance in line with contract requirements.
- The ability to build credible relationships with a management team and clients, and challenge when necessary.
- You will be performance driven with proven commercial / financial awareness.
