Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join the team.

Role Overview:
As a Clinical Negligence Solicitor, you will handle a varied caseload of clinical negligence matters, providing expert advice and guidance to clients who have suffered from medical negligence. You will be responsible for managing cases from initial instruction through to settlement or trial, ensuring the highest levels of service are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clinical negligence claims, including misdiagnosis, surgical errors, delayed treatment, and birth injuries.
  • Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients, maintaining a client-centred approach at all times.
  • Undertake legal research, prepare documentation, and negotiate settlements.
  • Liaise with medical experts, clients, and third-party professionals to build strong cases.
  • Attend court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations where required.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of relevant case law and industry developments.
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment, contributing to the firm's success.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Solicitor (or Chartered Legal Executive CILEX) in England & Wales with 3+ years PQE in clinical negligence.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical negligence law and procedures.
  • Proven track record of handling a caseload of clinical negligence claims.
  • Excellent client care and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • A keen attention to detail and a commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.
