**Early Years/Year 1 Teaching Assistant - Lancaster

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years/Year 1 Teaching Assistant to join our team in Lancaster schools. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with young learners, helping to shape their academic and personal development during these vital years of development.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons for Early Years and Year 1 pupils.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to children, including those with additional needs.
- Assist in managing classroom behavior and encouraging a positive learning environment.
- Help implement Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) principles and Year 1 curriculum goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support children's holistic development.
**Requirements:
- Experience working with Early Years or Year 1 students (preferred).
- A good understanding of the EYFS and Key Stage 1 curriculum.
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
- Relevant qualifications in childcare or education (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3, or equivalent).
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
