METAL POLISHERS
Immediate PERMANENT Positions
Location: Wolverhampton
Hours: NIGHTS 6PM to 6AM - Monday to Thursday
Note - Days are also available
Salary: from £37,315 up to £46,500 DOE
MAIN DUTIES :
Immediate Permanent positions for experienced Metal Polishers to work within a team of polishers polishing various high end metal parts - attention to detail and good experience of using linishers is essential.
- Responsible for the polishing / linishing of components to a very high quality standard
- Prepping parts and components ready for final stage of the polishing process
- Using various polishing machines and hand tools to complete the polishing /finishing
- Ensure all work is undertaken in accordance with any work instructions
- Responsible for components within the polishing workshop
- Notify the team leader of consumable items that are out of stock
- Report any quality issues / concerns to the team leader
- Maintain good communications and relationships throughout the company
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and H&S is maintained
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment and good housekeeping standards
- Ensure 5S standards are maintained.
Experience / Skills:
- Solid experience of working as a Metal Polisher
- Experienced in linishing and grinding aspects of polishing
- Competency with machinery and abrasive belts
