Production Operative
Location: Hertford, Hertfordshire
Hours: 8.15am - 4.45pm (1.15pm on a Friday) 37.5 hrs a week
Salary: £12.00ph
A leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality medical devices and equipment is currently seeking dedicated and skilled individuals to join their team as Production Operators. Responsibilities:
o Complete work instructions.
o Pick parts, subassemblies, tools and materials then assemble.
o Assemble devices by examining connections for correct fit.
o Verify specifications by testing manufactured products and produce Test Certificate.
o Print labels with batch information and affix to products.
o Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs and records.
o Prepare packaging ready for despatch.
o Monitor stock by completing counts as required.
o Cleaning and maintaining the work area.
o Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
o Be accustomed with and know how to use workshop tools.
o Inform a supervisor immediately in the case of a recorded nonconformity of the technical requirements or an
assumption of a real risk of production problems.
o Carry out work according to the quality policy of the company.
o Maintains safe and healthy work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
o Other general production duties as required.
Requirements:
" Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not essential.
" Good manual dexterity and the ability to handle small components with precision.
" Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
" Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues.
" Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
" Basic computer skills for data entry and production tracking.
" Excellent time management and organisational skills.
" Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
