Job Description: We are seeking an inspirational and passionate Year 4 Class Teacher to join our committed team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to our Year 4 students, ensuring a stimulating and safe learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.
- Create a positive classroom environment that promotes active learning and encourages pupil participation.
- Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and coordinate activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other stakeholders to support pupil development.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
- Commit to ongoing professional development and stay abreast of educational best practices.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications.
- Experience teaching at the primary level, preferably with Year 4.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment methods.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
