Enjoying continued growth through service and market development, the business has established a fast-growing specialist Practice Group now looking to expand its team supporting large corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities of the Pricing Analyst

  • Analyse and interpret data using Excel and Tableau.
  • Make informed pricing decisions based on the analysis of internal and external data across multiple price zones.
  • Monitor the outcomes of pricing decisions by evaluating performance data across large datasets.
  • Respond to competitor analysis.
  • Achieve quarterly targets for margin and inventory turnover.
  • Delegate tasks within the team.
  • Stay up to date on industry-wide and international data trends relevant to the business.
  • Prepare performance reports and present findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirements.
  • Develop and refine internal procedures.

Skills & Attributes of the Pricing Analyst

  • Prior experience in a pricing/revenue-focused role or in business analytics.
  • Analytical, strategic, and data-driven mindset.
  • Proven expertise in Excel.
  • High numeracy skills with strong statistical capabilities for trend analysis and understanding modelling techniques.
  • Strong understanding of supply and demand dynamics.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Microsoft BI).
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of dynamic pricing.
  • Experience in management or training.
  • Strong industry knowledge, including equipment, competitors, and market trends.
  • A Bachelor's degree in economics, business, accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in an ecommerce or marketplace environment preferred but not essential.
