Key Account Manager

Our client develops leading brands for commercial and retail customers, delivering innovative pest control and garden care products to a global customer base. They are looking for an Account Manager, based in Ireland.

Purpose: To achieve monthly sales targets by maintaining relationships with customer base and develop new business with prospects and lapsed accounts.

Account Management

  • Maintain regular contact with customers on buying platform.
  • Sell the full range of group products to your customers.
  • Ensure customers remain adequately stocked with group range, introducing new products where possible.
  • Provide up to date product information, including product changes.
  • Develop understanding of each customer, the market they sell into and the way they promote the products.
  • Ensure our client is the sole supplier by selling the features, advantages and benefits of products.
  • Develop understanding and keep up to date with competitors' products

New Business Development

  • Convert new business is fundamental to success in the role and also expanding offering to current customer base.
  • Grow new business portfolio year on year.

Administrative responsibilities

General

  • Go Getter" attitude and can work independently.
  • Ideally based in Northern Ireland
  • Ability to travel to England at least once a month.

Required Skills and Qualifications

 Looking for a "Hunter," who will use initiative and stive to over deliver.

 Good level of education and qualifications required

 Previous sales experience essential

 Product sales experience an advantage - not required

 Good level of problem-solving skills desirable

 Excellent interpersonal skills required as well as the ability

to negotiate on all levels.

 Good level of communication, conversational and

persuasive skills required.
