About the Role:
As a HLTA you will:
- Deliver lessons and lead classroom activities in the absence of the class teacher.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere.

- You take a flexible and adaptable approach to working across different year groups and settings.
- You are organised, dependable and have fantastic time management skills.
- You possess the ability to work independently and confidently in a classroom setting.
Location - Multiple across Southampton and surrounding areas.

Duration - Temporary, potentially resulting in permanent work.

Rate of pay - £95+ (dependant on experience)
Hours - 8:30am - 3:00pm (hours may vary)
Essential & Desirable Qualifications:
- HLTA qualifications (essential)
- Experience of working in a classroom setting (desirable)
- Experience working with students with SEN (desirable)
To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:
- Hold right to work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide references upon request
- Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
