Are you a skilled and versatile tradesperson looking for a short-term opportunity? Our client is seeking a dedicated Multi-Trade Engineer to join their team in Aston, Birmingham from the 2nd to 4th of September. This role involves delivering planned preventative maintenance and responsive repairs to ensure safe, warm, and functional properties for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance and Repairs:

Perform a range of maintenance tasks, including:

Electrical
-
Plumbing
-
Carpentry
-
Painting and Decorating
-
Plastering repairs
-
Tiling
-
Masonry repairs
-
Groundswork
-
Ensure all work is carried out to required standards and complies with health and safety regulations.

Health and Safety:
-
Conduct dynamic risk assessments and ensure a safe working environment.

Adhere to Health and Safety legislation and report any concerns or incidents.

Customer Service:
-
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customers' homes are respected and left in a clean, safe condition.

Complete digital job tickets promptly and accurately, raising follow-on work orders as necessary.

Team Support:
-
Work collaboratively with the facilities team to provide a seamless service across multiple properties.

Maintain high standards of stock control and vehicle cleanliness.
Key Requirements:

Minimum entry-level skills in construction with experience in multi-trade roles.

Proficiency in the following areas:

Electrical
-
Plumbing
-
Carpentry

Painting and Decorating

Plastering repairs

Tiling

Masonry repairs

Groundswork

Understanding of Health and Safety responsibilities and safe systems of work.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Basic computer literacy and ability to use Microsoft Office and PDA maintenance systems.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
