Property/Tenancy Manager (Maternity Cover)
Salary: £24,000 - £27,000 per annum
Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
The team are a well-established property management/estate agency based in Molesey, committed to providing exceptional service to our clients and tenants. We are seeking an experienced Property/Tenancy Manager to join their team on a maternity cover basis. This could be perfect for someone to further their skills or even take the jump across from lettings to the world of Property Management.
Role Overview: As the Property/Tenancy Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of our property portfolio. This includes ensuring compliance with tenancy agreements, addressing tenant concerns, and coordinating maintenance activities. You will work closely with landlords, tenants, and contractors to ensure properties are well-maintained and tenancies are managed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of properties, ensuring all tenancies are compliant with current legislation.
- Handle tenant inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate property inspections, maintenance, and repairs, liaising with contractors as necessary.
- Oversee the tenancy renewal process, including negotiating terms and preparing documentation.
- Conduct check-in and check-out inspections, ensuring any necessary repairs or cleaning are completed.
- Manage rent arrears, ensuring timely collection and addressing any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of all communications, inspections, and transactions.
- Provide regular updates and reports to landlords on the status of their properties.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Property Management or Lettings is essential.
- Strong knowledge of relevant property legislation and tenancy agreements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors.
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in the use of property management software and Microsoft Office.
