Accounts Manager

Are you an experienced Accounts Manager looking for a new challenge within a family run environment?

Do you hold an AAT Level 3 qualification with sound understanding of Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) and domestic reverse charge?

CCP are supporting an established, award-winning group of construction businesses with the appointment of an experienced Accounts Manager to join their team as soon as possible. In addition to paying bills, billing clients/customers, tracking company assets and expenses, the Accounts and Finance department provides strategic insights and supports informed decision making influencing the group's financial growth and success.

Depending on skills and experience, the company are offering between £35,000-£38,000 per annum for this newly created position. The role is working on site, Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 5:00pm. Due to the location of the office near Purleigh, it is best accessed by car with ample parking available.

Key Duties:

  • Ensure that all tasks are managed and completed within the required timeframes across the group.
  • Manage day to day cash flows for each business account.
  • Worked with the Group Financial Controller to ensure all needs of the business are met, including annual audits for all companies.
  • Purchase Ledger Management, aiding the Ledger staff when needed.
  • Complete HMRC returns, ONS surveys and other statutory requirements.
  • Other ad hoc duties, ensuring that requirements of all other departments and divisions are met.

Must Haves:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an Accounts Management role.
  • AAT Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Detailed knowledge and experience of Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) and domestic reverse charge.
  • Strong IT skills, especially Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail, even when working to tight deadlines.
  • Proactive multitasker, who remains calm and effective under pressure.
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence with access to own transport.
