Rents Finance Officer - 6 month contract

We are seeking a Rents Finance Officer, a key role within our Accounting & Finance department in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial administration of the rent account and assisting in the preparation of annual service charge accounts.

Description

  • Processing rent transactions and reconciling rent accounts
  • Assisting in the preparation of annual service charge accounts
  • Liaising with housing officers on rent arrears and recovery actions
  • Preparing and submitting regular reports on rental income
  • Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
  • Adhering to all financial regulations and company policies
  • Collaborating with the finance team on financial projects as needed
  • Maintaining a high level of customer service at all times

Profile

A successful Rents Finance Officer should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Knowledge of financial systems and databases
  • Strong numerical and analytical abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
