The Role

Set in stunning grounds in Hillingdon, our client has a fantastic opportunity to join their international school admissions team as an Assistant Dean of Admissions. Through the parent tours, day-to-day dealings with families and the efficiency of the Admissions process, the Assistant Dean of Admissions ensures that enrolment numbers are as high as possible for this private fee-paying School.

You will manage and develop excellent customer relationships together with the Dean of Admissions ensuring every family receives the support they need during their admission journey.

As a key member of the admission team, your drive, resourcefulness, proactivity, and experience to enrol applicants will be essential to success.

This role will suit someone who has worked within the education sector who is passionate about education and is a confident and personable individual.

Key duties include:

  • Support the Dean of Admissions in managing daily operations to ensure exceptional customer service for prospective families.
  • Effectively communicate the school's ethos and establish positive relationships with prospective families, guiding them through the enrollment process.
  • Conduct and manage campus visits, Zoom calls, and follow through with the entire enrollment process, ensuring a smooth and professional experience.
  • Drive enrollment by managing inquiries and conversions in line with recruitment and retention targets.
  • Provide detailed applicant information and collaborate with relevant departments to determine eligibility for acceptance.
  • Assist with applicant assessments and support the re-enrollment and withdrawal processes to ensure smooth transitions for families.
  • Perform administrative duties, including database management, statistical reporting, and staying updated with school developments to accurately represent the school.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Department to drive enrollment through marketing activities and represent the school at various networking events, including potential occasional international travel.

Experience required:

This role would suit someone who has worked within the education sector maybe in a business development role, admissions, student recruitment, UKVI role or similar where the role has required you to build excellent relationships with students and/or parents.

  • Experience working in the education sector with a customer service focus
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to form effective customer relationships and convert enquiries.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
  • Team focused with a flexible attitude.
  • Solid time management skills with the ability to multi-task and cope with peaks of demand.
