Due to growth, they are keen to appoint a Senior Accountant/Auditor to join their friendly team. If you're a team player, looking for the opportunity to grow and work with a variety of clients, this could be the opportunity for you.
As Senior Accountant/Auditor your duties will include:
- Leading audits including liaising with clients on-site to complete the work
- Overseeing a team of 2-3 both on site and in the office
- Planning of audits (ideal but not essential)
- Preparing accounts on behalf of clients across the portfolio.
- Inputting draft accounts onto the internal system.
- Assisting in the preparation of year-end financial statements to clients.
- Assisting staff with any ad-hoc accounting projects as required.
- Helping to train/advise junior members of staff as required
Skills required:
- Previous experience of working within an accounting role within practice or industry.
- Quality organisational skills.
- AAT/ACA/ACCA qualifications.
- Bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, reconciling creditors.
- Reconciliation of PAYE and VAT.
- Processing and inputting VAT figures.
