Import Operations Coordinator

- Working Hours: 09:00 – 17:30, Monday to Friday
- Salary: up to £35,000
We are seeking an Import Operations Coordinator with a strong background in FCL/LCL imports and customs clearance. The ideal candidate will have European road knowledge and be able to demonstrate a range of experience within the field.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Coordinating full container load (FCL) and less than container load (LCL) import operations.
- Managing customs clearance procedures and ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Liaising with clients, shipping lines, and transport companies to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitoring the progress of shipments and providing updates to relevant parties.
- Handling any issues that arise during the import process promptly and efficiently.
- Maintaining accurate records of all operations and transactions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in FCL and LCL imports.
- Solid understanding of customs clearance processes.
- Preferred knowledge of European road transport.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
