Trainee Credit Controller

Our Client is seeking an outgoing, switched-on candidate who is keen to learn credit control to join their team.

Please note: this role is fully office-based. Due to the location, own transport is required.

Key Responsibilities of a Credit Controller

  • Chasing payment of overdue accounts via phone, email, and letter.
  • Reconciliation of accounts
  • Dealing with queries both internally and externally to ensure smooth & timely resolution.
  • Opening and setting up new accounts
  • Maintaining / updating customer details
  • Issuing legal letters and liaising with our solicitors
  • Filling out supplier forms

Key Competencies of a Credit Controller

  • Excellent/confident verbal and written communication skills.
  • Diary management and organisation is a must.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work well as a team/alone.
  • Previous experience working in Sales Ledger / Credit Control environment (Desirable)
