I am recruiting for an IMPORT TEAM LEADER/ SUPERVISOR to join a well established freight forwarding company based locally to Heathrow.
Daily duties will include:
- Experience dealing with courier and cargo import- air/road
- Ensuring imports are compliance and HMRC regulations are adhered to
- Liaising with airlines on a daily basis
- Prepare and review import documentation including AWB, invoices , import permits and other related documentation
- Maintain accurate records for audit and compliance purposes
- Liaise with stakeholders and relevant departments
- Weekly bond checks
- Calculate and track import duties, taxes and fees payable on imported goods
- Monitoring and tracking shipments and providing updates to clients
Experience needed:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role
- Courier import experience
- CDS experience
- PC literate
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Working hours:
- Tuesday- Saturday 0730-1600 / 0800-1630
