Axon Moore are delighted to be working exclusively with a well known Leeds based client to recruit a Finance Manager.
Our client is going through substantial growth through several acquisitions and needs the support of an ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified Accountant who is immediately available for both interview and start date.
This is a brand new and exciting role that will over see the finance functions for several acquisitions and well as direct line manage 2 Management Accountants and 3 Assistant Accountants.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts to agreed deadline.
- Ownership of intercompany across all entities.
- Prepare VAT returns across all businesses for waste processing division.
- Perform monthly review of accounting results.
- Responsible for ensuring all bank accounts are regularly reconciled and receipts/payments are allocated.
- Working capital management and production of weekly cashflow to review with FC.
- Develop cashflow forecast model with weekly submission to FC.
- Control and coordinate the weekly and adhoc payment run process.
- Lead and support the team of Management Accountants (2), Assistant Accountants (3).
- Submit ONS statistics to HMRC.
- Drive continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices.
- Assist with Balance Sheet reviews and reporting as required.
- Assist with systems implementation and internal control processes.
