The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a dynamic and engaging ICT curriculum to students across various key stages. Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality ICT lessons to students.
- Teach a range of ICT topics, including coding, networking, data management, and emerging technologies.
- Foster students' interest in technology and its applications.
- Encourage problem solving, critical thinking, and creativity in digital projects.
- Monitor, assess, and report on student progress, offering targeted support where necessary.
- Stay up to date with the latest ICT developments and integrate them into the classroom.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to enhance cross-curricular learning.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in ICT, computer science, or a related subject.
- Experience teaching ICT at the secondary level (experience at the primary level is also welcome).
- Must provide 2 professional references.
- An enhanced DBS on update service, or willing to apply a new one.
- Legal ability to work within the UK.
- Strong classroom management skills Passion for technology and innovative teaching methods.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
