Editorial Intern, based in Leatherhead, Surrey (hybrid)
Salary is £11.44 per hour, 37.5 hours a week.
The role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, diligent, and meticulous individual who wishes to gain work experience within an International editorial environment.
The main responsibility of the role will be to assist in the digitisation of our historic published titles catalogue. Within this there is scope to get wider publishing experience, including copy editing and author management experience.
Close attention to detail and delivering projects to high editorial standards is essential.
This internship will initially last for 8-12 weeks, but there is the possibility of it leading to a permanent role.
The person:
The candidate will be a self-motivated individual with a keen eye for detail. They should be able to work as part of a team and on their own at times. They should understand how to prioritise, organise and show initiative when dealing with several tasks and workloads simultaneously, as well as be willing to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment. Ideally you will be studying or have studied a business degree. Excellent computer skills are essential.
