Job Title: Lead Technician
Location: Leicester
Hours: 45 hour week, overtime paid, 2 shift patterns run fortnightly
Our client is looking to recruit a Lead Technician to join their Workshop team within the Commercial Vehicles Industry.
The Role:
You will be based at the Loughborough site and be responsible for maintaining commercial vehicles to the required DVSA Standards. Value to this client is of the utmost importance so you will be supporting them on ensuring the brand, customer, driver and vehicle is well looked after.
As the Lead Technician you will be responsible for ensuring your shift runs smoothly and act as a mentor to other Technicians. This is a physically and mentally demanding environment where you will be expected to effectively process information and diagnose issues.
Shift Pattern:
On average this is a 45 hour week where any overtime would be paid at time and a half
Week 1: Early Shift - Monday to Friday 6am to 2.30pm, Saturday 6am - 11am
Week 2: Late Shift - Monday to Friday - 12pm to 9.30pm
The successful applicant will require:
- A technical qualification related to Commercial Vehicles
- Full driving license
- Confident with good verbal and numerical skills
- A disciplined commercial vehicle technician
- Excellent relationship skills
- Understanding the value of the customer, suppliers and colleagues
