Cameron House, a purpose-built residential care home in Inverness, specialises in dementia care. We are currently seeking dedicated Night Shift Care Workers to provide essential support. Our 30 single bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities, provide a familiar and reassuring environment for residents. We emphasize individualized care, family involvement, and community connections. Our activities program includes reminiscence groups, crafts, outings, and sensory experiences.
As a Night Shift Care Worker, your role will involve several key responsibilities. You will act as a key worker for designated service users, compiling, monitoring, and reviewing care plans in consultation with relevant stakeholders. Additionally, you will assist service users with personal and intimate care, ensuring their comfort and well-being. You'll also facilitate access to aids and personal equipment required by service users.
Liaising with other health professionals during times of illness or at the end of life is an essential part of the role. You'll promote mental and physical activity based on individual care plans, contributing to residents' overall well-being. In addition to the core responsibilities, you'll be responsible for answering emergency bells, handling the door, telephone, and greeting visitors professionally. Regular documentation, including reading and writing reports, will be part of your duties. Participation in staff and service users meetings is required, and you'll work on a rota basis, including weekends and evenings.
