Financial Controller Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the preparation of the monthly and annual accounts
- Budgets, forecasts, financial modelling
- Provide commentary and analysis of actual results
- Identify financial trends and recommend actions as appropriate
- Ensure robust financial control around Bill of Materials and standard costs are continually in place
- Drive improved financial understanding and performance company-wide
Financial Controller Skills and Experience:
- Previous financial experience in a manufacturing/engineering is highly desirable
- Knowledge of Management Accounting withing a standard costing environment
- Able to confidently and clearly explain financial issues to colleagues of all seniority
- An eye for detail, able to spot opportunities to streamline processes and eliminate waste
- Commercial acumen, with the ability to support improvement in gross margins
- Happy to be office-based, Monday to Friday
