Sales Analyst - 3 Month FTC

Working Pattern -

Hybrid – 2 days per week either the Vitality Bournemouth or London Offices. Full time hours.

What this role is all about:

As a Sales Analyst you will assist distribution to reach as many customers as possible to achieve our core purpose of making people healthier and enhancing and protecting their lives. To achieve this you will provide reporting, information and insight into the performance of distribution which enables effective strategic decision making which, ultimately, enhances performance across the business. You will also generate insight which supports decision-making and enable action across the group.

Key Actions

  • Builds and maintains strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Provide detailed trend analysis and recommendations.
  • Identifying root causes of trends and seeking to consistently improve quality of output.
  • Macro-economic outlook – understanding impacts of environment on business performance.
  • Support the migration of manual reporting into automated environments (e.g. Spotfire and Power BI) to improve efficiency and automation.
  • Use mathematical models to predict the outcomes of changes in the business model which could impact performance.
  • Performance Reporting.
  • Responsibility for bonus models and incentive structures (internal teams).
  • Target setting and review across channels and product houses.
  • Lapse analysis.
  • Broker incentive structures.
  • Updating and distributing existing reports including business area and product specific reports.
  • Identifying anomalies and data issues and developing solutions to improve overall reporting.
  • Project Manage key MI developments across the team.
  • Provide support Head of Intermediary Analytics.

What do you need to thrive?

  • Educated to degree level in relevant subject (computing / programming / mathematics / statistics).
  • Experience of data analysis and report building in Excel.
  • Data manipulation, Formula creation, Charts and graphs, Pivot tables.
  • A high degree of self-motivation and the ability to work flexibly within tight deadlines with demanding stakeholders. Demonstrating effective time management skills at all times.
  • High level of attention to detail ensuring all data is correct whilst conducting analysis.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills.
