Interim Youth Service Senior Practice Development Lead
Based in London
Length: 3 months Initially
The Senior Practice Development Lead will be responsible for leading on arrangements related to quality assurance, workforce development and learning reviews across the Youth Service and Youth Justice Service as part of achieving the best standard of service delivery for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities and experience required of the Senior Practice Development Lead:
- To lead on the design and implementation of a new quality assurance framework
- To develop, embed and review a quality assurance framework incorporating universal, detached, participation, sports, targeted youth support and youth justice
- Develop and implement a new child centred quality assurance framework and related activities to ensure the quality of youth work delivery is consistently good across all deliverables as well as driving excellence
- Develop and implement comprehensive audit tools informed by the National Youth Agency as well as toolkits for youth work practitioners to use as part of their day-to-day practice
- Review pathways and processes to ensure there is alignment to provide consistency in youth work practice
Desired skills and Experience of the Community Safety Partnership Manager:
- Successful and demonstratable experience of working within the Youth Service setting within Local Authorities
- Knowledge of creating, implementing and delivering a quality assurance framework
- Requires a DBS check
