Position: Full time, Permanent

(hybrid working available)

Salary: Up to £65,000

We are now looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to join their Finance team. The successful candidate will work alongside the Operations and Sales Teams to play their crucial role in supporting financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis.

Responsibilities of FP&A Analyst:

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and performance metrics
  • Prepare and present financial reports and presentations to high profile management
  • Collaborate with the Sales, Operations and Finance teams to gather data, analyse information, and provide financial insights, budgets and forecasts
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the FP&A function
  • Support ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as needed
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Assist the team with other year end audits, reporting, bidding and forecasting

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A strong understanding of financial modelling, data analysis, and the ability to translate complex financial information into actionable insights
  • Qualified or part qualified Accountant
  • Experience within a similar role, or a proven track record of data analysis
  • Planning and organisational abilities, able to prioritise workload accordingly and work to deadlines timely
  • A key team player who can engage and develop strong relationships
