Salary: £80 - £100 per day

Working Hours: 08:30 - 15:30

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students? We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join our team on a supply basis in High Wycombe.

Position Overview: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students in their learning and development. Working on a supply basis, you will be contacted early in the morning to accept bookings for the day. This role offers flexibility and is ideal for graduates, tutors, and childminders looking to progress their career in education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with various learning needs.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support the classroom teacher in managing student behavior and maintaining a focused learning atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to create an effective learning experience for all students.

  • Confidence: Ability to engage with students and build rapport.
  • Time Management: Efficiently manage tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Communication: Clear and effective communication with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Reliability: Consistent availability and responsiveness to early morning bookings.
  • Classroom Management: Ability to assist in maintaining a positive and structured classroom environment.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience working with SEN young people is desirable.
  • Graduates, tutors, and childminders are encouraged to apply.
