ERP Technical Delivery Analyst
Hybrid– attached to the Solihull office
Full Time, Permanent
Salary - £65,000 - £70,000 (dependent on experience)
Job Overview: Serco is seeking a skilled ERP Technical Delivery Analyst with a strong focus on SAP Basis support and expertise in managing and supporting third-party applications within a broader ERP landscape. This key role involves building effective relationships with multiple third-party vendors to ensure seamless integration, ongoing delivery, and support of the ERP platform, primarily SAP.
Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership & Support:
-
Serve as part of a dedicated team of technical experts, providing hands-on direction to third-party vendors in the delivery of technical project elements and the support of complex or escalated incidents.

Advise the ERP leadership team on technical risks associated with delivery plans and offer guidance on operating a large and complex ERP footprint.

Play a pivotal role in the transformation to new ERP platforms.

Project & BAU Delivery:
-
Manage technical delivery within projects and resolve technical components of BAU issues, with experience in supporting SAP On-Premise and Cloud platforms (SAP ECC, SRM, PI, BW HANA, MS SQL, Opentext Cloud, EPI-USE tools, Azure Hosting, Firewall Rules) as well as SAP Desktop applications (SAP GUI, AFO, HANA Studio).

Lead investigations into complex technical and integration issues, supporting incident, service request, and problem resolution, ensuring effective collaboration with team members and third parties.

System Management:

Ensure systems are patched, analyse issues, and guide resolutions.

Engage with Change Management processes within the ERP landscape, supporting environment, implementation, and release management activities.

Oversee system tuning, performance monitoring, and improvement efforts.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management:

Build and maintain positive relationships with third-party support teams.

Participate in the Design Authority process, ensuring well-documented technical design patterns and the quality of design outputs.

Ensure the quality and completeness of key technical documentation.

Contribute to program and project delivery, including the execution of technical components within projects.
Qualifications & Experience:
-
Technical Expertise:
-
7+ years of experience in developing and supporting SAP architecture with broad awareness of SAP functions.

Expertise in SAP Basis/ABAP/PI/BTP/Cloud Platform with functional awareness in OTC/PTP/RTR/HCM/PY.

Experience with SAP BW HANA, Ariba, Concur, S/4, Opentext, EPI-USE, and SAP Desktop applications (SAP GUI, AFO, HANA Studio).

Professional certification in SAP BASIS is preferred.

Industry Knowledge:
-
Understanding of industry standards, latest products, and best practices in ERP systems.

Experience in working with non-SAP and SAP partner products to deliver integrated solutions.

Experience managing offshore/outsourced system integrator relationships for both BAU and project delivery is beneficial.

Experience with transformational SAP programs is advantageous.

Communication Skills:

Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders, explain technical risks, issues, and solutions to non-technical teams.
