We are recruiting for a Corporate Commination's & Digital Marketing Apprentice - (L3 Content Creator Apprenticeship)

Location: Ibstock Head Office, Leicester Road, Ibstock, LE67 6HS

Apprenticeship Duration: 18 months including End Point Assessment

Salary: £19,000 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (08.30am till 5.00pm - Monday to Friday including a 1 hour break)

We have a unique and exciting opportunity for a motivated Apprentice to join our friendly and creative Corporate Communications & Digital team at Ibstock – a UK leading building materials manufacturer. This role will provide you with a chance to learn about the principles of internal communication and the impact it can have in a business, as well as getting involved with our external digital marketing communications including our website and social media channels.

As part of the team you will have the opportunity to contribute ideas and bring a fresh perspective, utilising your skills to connect with both internal and external audiences – gaining understanding and learning practical skills.

Alongside your day to day role you will be studying for the Level 3 Content Creator apprenticeship, which will provide you with the foundational principles around creating content for a wide range of stakeholders.

You will get to learn on the job with mentoring and development from our colleagues and that you get to put your learning to practical use. Upon completion you will have developed your skills to grow your career in communications and digital marketing.

A typical day in the job:

  • Work across all areas of the internal communications agenda to support the delivery of key projects and initiatives
  • Draft and edit written copy for use on our intranet and Ibstock's website and social media channels
  • Create a range of content and assets using creative design tools to cover a range of different audiences.
  • Edit video content for internal and external use
  • Capturing photography and videos across our multiple site locations, or at key events to use internally and externally
  • Support with varied internal and external initiatives and events
  • Support the maintenance and development of Ibstock's intranet and website
  • Support the maintenance of the Digital Asset Management System
  • Stay updated with the latest marketing trends and adapt strategies accordingly to enhance outreach and engagement
  • Working towards your L3 Qualification in Content Creation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • As a minimum requirement, you will need to have achieved 5 GCSE passes at Grade C/4 or above including in English and Maths or equivalent qualifications
