About the Role:
As a Multi-Skilled Trainer, you will work across two sites, HMP Feltham and HMP High Down delivering vocational training to learners in a supportive and positive environment. This role is vital in helping individuals develop essential skills that can transform their lives. You will be part of a dedicated team focused on making a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons tailored to individual learner needs.
- Foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Monitor and assess learner progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for learners.
- Stay current with curriculum changes and best practices.
Requirements:
- A teaching qualification or subject specialist qualification at Level 4
- Proven track record in effective teaching/training
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in construction, painting & decorating or carpentry joinery
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- A Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy.
- Willingness to obtain a clean, enhanced DBS check.
Salary & Benefits:
- £32,000 - £38,000 per annum
