Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a successful and growing engineering company to recruit a Paint Shop Supervisor to work in their industrial coatings paint shop at their site near Malton, North Yorkshire.
Hours: Monday to Friday - 7am to 3pm

The Paint Shop Supervisor will assist the Production Manager in coordinating the responsibilities and safety protocols for the Industrial Coatings and Paint Shop department. The Production Team Leader will also ensure that the coatings operatives are well organised and their work is carefully planned in order to deliver high end products, on target, and within budgeted hours.
Duties of the Paint Shop Supervisor will include:
- Completing stock checks
- Communicating with suppliers
- Checking the production plan to ensure sufficient stocks of correct coatings
- Monitor workflow
- Monitor visual quality inspection of coatings and application processes
- Check weekly timesheets
- Manage shortfall in resources in consultation with the Paint Shop Manager
We are keen to speak with Paint Shop and Production Supervisors who have the following skills and experience:
- A background in commercial, industrial, or offshore coatings and paint applications
- Experience leading and managing a team of industrial coatings operatives
- Experienced in industrial or heavy engineering production environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
