Randstad is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Sports Coach to join a dynamic multi-academy trust teaching a variety of sports sessions - starting in September 2024. This role is ideal for someone eager to share their passion for helping students keep fit and develop a passion outside the classroom.

About The Bridge Academy

The Bridge's curriculum is designed specifically to enable a range of students to progress in their next steps of education. Children at Bridge Academy are strongly encouraged to participate in a wide range of practical physical education, together with a well devised theory section where pupils covering numerous topics which include; the human body, how it works, the functions, muscles, bones and joints. This also includes nutrition and living a healthy lifestyle and maintaining a balanced diet. The pupils learn through a variety of mediums including written auditory, demonstration, participation and visual media in order to broaden their understanding and knowledge.

At Bridge Academy we also benefit from having a fitness gym on site where the pupils can use a range of equipment such as the punch bag for boxing sessions, weights, pull-up multi gym bars, and the TRX multifunction resistance system, helping pupils with core conditioning and strengthening work. We have also very recently seen the completed installation of a brand new outdoor multi use games area.

The successful candidate must be able to inspire and develop students through their teaching and knowledge of the curriculum, hold a creative approach to their lesson delivery as well as being confident in strategies to enable all students to make or exceed their levels of progress. We are looking for an English/Drama Teacher who can inspire and develop students through creative lesson delivery and a thorough knowledge of the KS3 curriculum. The ideal candidate will be confident in using strategies that help all students achieve or exceed their progress goals.
