Associate Information Specialist/Administrator
Location: RG7 4PR, located between Reading and Basingstoke, with free onsite parking.
Package: £24,490 - £26,000 (depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience)
Working pattern: AWE operates a 9-day working fortnight.

AWE is currently recruiting for an Associate Information Specialist for the Information, Configuration & Knowledge Management group.
This role is ideally suited to an individual with a strong Administration background ideally with some experience or knowledge of the IT sector.
Key Accountabilities:
- To professionally deliver information services in accordance with service standards, supporting processes and work instructions.
- Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality and be a great team player.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loaning of registered items.
- Loan Renewals of registered items.
- Media uploads and burn requests.
- USB's Loans.
- Document Control (including destructions)
- Document Storage
- Document Retrieval
- Issuing and management of signature stamps
- Management of Metadata
- Following, Controlling and Managing of work instructions
- Provide general information services.
- Services in support of management activity (e.g. office calendar appointments).
- Provision of advice and guidance to customers.
- Carry out Mustering activities as required.
- The Company may require you to fulfil any other reasonable duties aligned to your position from time to time in line with business needs.
Who are we looking for?
We do need you to have the following:
- Strong administration experience
- Comfortable working in a process driven environment
Whilst not to be considered a tick list, we'd like you to have experience in some of the following:
- Knowledge of the IT sector
- An active DV Clearance
You'll need to have the ability to work calmly and constructively in a priority changing environment and be able to manage your own workload. You will also have initiative, enthusiasm, a flexible approach, and ability to work to tight deadlines.

Due to the classified nature of the work involved, there are limited opportunities to work from home in this role. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will spend the majority of their time working on site at AWE Aldermaston.
