Client Details

Relocations Project Manager required to join an organisation who operate in the Automotive industry. You will be responsible for the delivery of several relocation projects across the UK. You will manage a variety of in-house staff and external contractors.

This is a 6-12month fixed term contract.

Description

As Property Relocations Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of several site relocation projects across the portfolio of properties ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full project lifecycle (Initiation, Planning, Execution, Closure)
  • Implement effective project controls, and provide timely and accurate project reporting
  • Escalate risks, issues and concerns at the earliest opportunity
  • Maintain a project RAID log, and project schedule for each project
  • Produce required project documentation to enable successful project outcomes
  • Develop, build and maintain relationships both internally and externally to achieve project objectives
  • Ensure effective communication at all levels
  • Coordinate and plan resource requirements to ensure project outcome deadlines are adhered to
  • Proactively resolve issues through negotiation and compromise
  • Working within a clearly defined governance structure
  • Engaging with project stakeholders to resolve issues and seek clarification

Profile

  • Experience in a similar role (Property Project Manager, Workplace Project Manager, Relocations Manager)
  • Experience delivering projects within an industrial setting would be an advantageous
  • Able to effectively deliver multiple projects at a time
  • Operational Project management experience
  • Excel, Word, Visio, Powerpoint and MS Project Skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively with all key stakeholders
  • Experience of using formal Project Management methods
  • Understanding of Project reporting and tracking, including budget tracking
  • Maintaining risk, issue and quality logs
  • Experience of successfully leading a small project team

Job Offer

  • £50,000 - 55,000
  • £6,000 Car Allowance
