Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a supportive and engaging SEMH Teacher to work with pupils aged 5 - 16 years old. The specialist school is located near Lincoln and believes in a personalised approach to learning. This setting is perfect for a teacher who is looking for an opportunity to make a positive impact in young people's lives.
The role is long-term, full-time starting in September and lasting until at least October half-term. There is a real possibility for the placement to extend!
Responsibilities and duties of the position include:
- Lead holistic, creative, and engaging lessons that are inclusive to additional needs and catered towards pupils ECHPS/IEPs.
- Develop resources and crafts that encourage students to participate in the learning experience.
- Build a strong rapport with pupils that are based on professionalism, support, and respect.
- Follow, implement and uphold behavioural/safeguarding policies.
During you time at the school, Tradewind Recruitment will support your experience with CPD courses, a consultant that will take care of your needs, and competitive pay.
The rate for this role can be paid to scale due to planning and marking involved. Therefore, the daily rate will be £153.85 - £211.96 per day.

- Experience working in a mainstream secondary/primary school.
- Enhanced child-only DBS on the Update Service or willing to undertake one.
- Right to work in the UK.
