We're working exclusively with one of the South West's most respectable digital agencies, as they look to recruit a Digital Analytics and Tracking Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity as it's a brand new role which has been developed to enable the agency to better service its clients and offer something very unique. Data and tracking has become a very hot topic within digital now, and with the increased demand in specialist knowledge, this has created an opportunity for this new recruit!

Sitting within the SEO team, you will support across all clients, and will be busy setting up tagging and tracking for a range of businesses, both existing and potential new clients. As part of the initial SEO audit, you will get involved from a website diagnostics point of view, but then also you will be responsible for developing bespoke dashboards for clients using Looker Studio, as well as utilising Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console and GA4. Although you will officially sit within the SEO team, you'll also work closely with the PPC side of the business.

The sky's the limit when it comes to how far this role can go. You will quickly become an invaluable resource to the business as well as your clients, and over time, this could split off into a separate analytics/tracking division.

Skills and Experience

  • At least 12 months' experience in setting up tracking using Google Tag Manager (GTM)
  • Experience using a suite of tools including Looker Studio, Google Search Console and GA4
  • Excellent ability to derive insight from data
  • A wider understanding of SEO would be desirable here. For example, you might have previously worked in SEO but want to further specialise in analytic

Benefits

Depending on your level of experience, the salary on offer will be £26-32k, plus bonus and other benefits. There is a real onus on individualised career development plans in this agency, and your personal growth will be taken very seriously here. Generally speaking, the team is in the office 4 days per week, but we will consider flexible working requests.
