Kenton Black Finance are working with a friendly, progressive financial firm in Uckfield, East Sussex area seeking an experienced Payroll Supervisor to join the team on a Fixed Term 12 month Contract (may go permanent) working Hybrid, 2 days at home, with 3 days in the office.
This Payroll supervisor opportunity is suitable for an experienced Payroll Bureau Supervisor/Team Leader or similar with full end to end payroll processing experience, ready to join a friendly, team offering a great place to work, providing mentorship, leadership and support to the Payroll team, reporting to the Payroll Manager. You will be dealing with a variety of both small and larger payrolls on a weekly/fortnightly/monthly basis. Software training is provided.
Payroll Supervisor Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: -
Full end to end Payroll Supervisor duties comprising of the following :
Dealing with Weekly/Fortnightly/Monthly payrolls for diverse client portfolio
Dealing with client queries, HMRC queries & RTI
Processing SMP, SSP
Reconciling weekly and monthly PAYE figures
Competent and knowledgeable with all aspects of pension Auto enrolment procedures
Processing starters/leavers, P45/P46's
Setting up of new clients
Extensive client liaison/interaction
Preparing payroll journals
Production and distribution of pension scheme returns, notification of changes etc
Assisting with the onboarding of new clients
BACS processing

Person Specification
The Payroll Supervisor will need to possess full end to end payroll processing experience running payrolls on a multi interval basis together with previous leadership to lead and supervise and small team , together with a solid knowledge of pension auto enrolment procedures to work effectively. In addition, you will be overseeing and delegating workload to the team, working collaboratively with the Payroll Manager to process client payrolls to deadlines.
