Are you a Quantity Surveyor from a Civils / Groundworks background, looking for a specialist role within a growing company, where you will work autonomously work on Commercial projects across the South West in a role offering a company car and progression as the company develops?
This tight-knit company are a Civil Engineering Contractor who have seen rapid growth since their establishment in 2015, to the point they now have multiple offices across the South of England. They have continually built a loyal customer base and are now looking to add a Quantity Surveyor to their friendly team to keep up with an ever-increasing workload.
In this varied role, you will work primarily autonomously as the go-to Quantity Surveyor in the business responsible for undertaking site surveys, budgeting, cost control and liaison with clients and sub-contractors on site. Your time will be spread between working closely within a tight-knit office working out on site as you make visits across the Dorset and Bristol areas, with occasional travel- roughly once per week.
This autonomous role would suit a Quantity Surveyor with a background in Civils / Groundworks projects , who is eager to join a close knit team within a growing company offering ongoing progression opportunities.
The Role:
- Undertake site surveys, budgets and cost control
- Working closely with sub-contractors and engineers on site and tight-knit office team
- Handling contracts and preparing financial reports
- Negotiating with clients, contractors and other surveyors
- Monday-Friday - 8.5 hour days- flexible working hours
- Covering sites around the South West- travel on average 1x per week
The Person:
- Quantity Surveyor
- Civils / Groundworks or similar background
- Commutable to Shaftesbury - happy to undertake occasional regional travel
