Goods Movement Assistant
Job Type: Full-time
Working hours: Minimum 36 per week with flexitime; early finish on Friday

Key Responsibilities:
Stock Control:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts.
- Record and report discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
- Maintain organised and up-to-date stock records in the inventory management system.
Order Packaging:
- Prepare and package customer orders accurately and efficiently according to company standards.
- Ensure that all packaged goods are properly labelled and include necessary documentation.
- Inspect packaging materials and finished packages for quality and completeness.
Operational Support:
- Assist in receiving and unloading incoming shipments.
- Verify and record incoming stock, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the warehouse and packaging areas.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided if necessary).
Experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, stock control, or goods movement role is preferred.
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy packages and stand for extended periods.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office.
