Join Our Team as a Care Assistant at Our Nursing Home in Staines

Our Nursing Home are committed to providing high-quality, person-centered care in a warm and welcoming environment. Located in Staines, our nursing home offers a supportive and caring atmosphere for both our residents and staff. We are now looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Care Assistants.

Location: Staines, Surrey
Position: Care Assistant
Hourly Rate: £12 an hour
Contracted Hours: 36 hours per week / alternate weekends
Shift times: Days 7.30am to 7.30pm / Nights 7.30pm to 7.30am

Your Role: As a Care Assistant, you will be at the heart of our residents' care, ensuring they live their lives with dignity, respect, and comfort. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting residents with daily personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Supporting residents with mobility, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Helping with meal times, including serving food and assisting with feeding if necessary.
  • Offering companionship and building trusting relationships with residents.
  • Observing and reporting any changes in residents' health and well-being to senior staff.
  • Supporting residents with their daily routines and activities.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential; we provide full training.
  • A willingness to undergo a DBS check.
