PROCESS ENGINEER
LOCATION - SOUTH TYNESIDE
SALARY - COMPETITIVE

Zenith People are working with our client who are a Manufacturer based here in the North-East and are looking for an experienced, Process Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate existing manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvements and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Monitor and analyse performance metrics, cycle time, rates per hour, yield and scrap and develop strategies to meet or exceed targets.
- Provide technical support to resolve process related issues.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to drive root cause analysis, corrective actions and preventive measures.
- To assist in New Product Introduction and provide manufacturing and technical expertise.
- To produce CNC programs for a variety of machine tools.
- Collaborate with Team Leaders, manufacturing team members and build relationships with tooling suppliers.
- Participate and implement improvement programs and initiatives using Lean Manufacturing strategies.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in production technologies, methodologies and best practise.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a Manufacturing / Process Engineering role
- Familiar with AutoCAD and 3D CAD modelling
- Adept at working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience on CAD/CAM systems (Solidworks/Alphacam/Catia)
